Description

For more than 8 centuries, vines have been grown, and wine made at Abbaye de Valmagne.  The heritage, passion and know-how is clearly evident in their wines to this day.

Portalis is Abbaye de Valmagne’s mid-range wine, sitting in between the Turenne and Vitrail series.  It is named after Jean-Baptiste Portalis, who built the caves, or cellars, of the Abbaye in 1920.

A refreshing and balanced AOP Languedoc, Portalis Rouge is blend of organic Syrah, Mourvedre and Grenache, bringing you notes of garrigue, and red fruit on a bed of soft, silky tannins.
