Description

For more than 8 centuries, vines have been grown, and wine made at Abbaye de Valmagne.  The heritage, passion and know-how is clearly evident in their wines to this day.

Portalis is Abbaye de Valmagne’s mid-range wine, sitting in between the Turenne and Vitrail series.  It is named after Jean-Baptiste Portalis, who built the caves, or cellars, of the Abbaye in 1920.

Portalis Blanc is an organic AOP Languedoc made up of Roussanne and Marsanne grapes, common to the south of France with their typical elegant stone fruit and floral aromas, along with a touch of minerality that brings freshness and contrast.
