Description

For more than 8 centuries, vines have been grown, and wine made at Abbaye de Valmagne.  The heritage, passion and know-how is clearly evident in their wines to this day.

Made in very limited quantities and only in the best years, Abbaye de Valmagne’s Cardinal de Bonzi is an elegant, complex red made from a blend of Mourvedre, Syrah, Grenache and Morrastel resulting in an elegant wine with perfect balance and aromas of ripe fruit mingled with savoury notes, capable of further aging in the right conditions.

This organic AOP Gres de Montpelier is named after cardinal Pierre de Bonzi, who was the abbot of the Abbaye de Valmagne and helped to rebuild and renovate the abbey in the late 1600’s.
