Description

For more than 8 centuries, vines have been grown, and wine made at Abbaye de Valmagne.  The heritage, passion and know-how is clearly evident in their wines to this day.

Abbaye de Valmagne’s Turenne Rouge is the Abbaye’s grand vin, and is named after the Comte de Turenne who acquired the Abbey in 1838.  His descendants continue to work there to this day, 8 generations later, producing amazing wines from this estate steeped in history.

Turenne Rouge is an AOP Gres de Montpellier, and is made from a blend of Syrah, Grenache, Mourvedre and the lesser known Morrastel grape that brings additional complexity to the wine.
