Dating back several centuries, Château d’Estoublon has a turbulent past, having had several different names, being destroyed, rebuilt and finally renovated at the turn of the millenium.
Situated in Provence in the south of France, nestled right up against the Alpilles mountain range, the Château is surrounded by hectares of picturesque olive tree groves and vineyards from which it produces its renowned olive oil and wine.
The grapes at Château d’Estoublon are hand-harvested every autumn and carefully sorted so that only the highest quality fruit finds its way into your bottle.
Since the 18th century, the estate has been producing wine and olive oil in these idyllic settings, and since 2002, all the wines produces from its own grapes have been certified organic. Today, in the hands of its new owners, Château d’Estoublon’s organic wines are the culmination of centuries of savoir-faire and passion, married with a unique terroir to give you the very best of Provence in a bottle.
Recently Mr Jean-Guillaume Prats, who just so happens to be the CEO of Domaine Barons de Rothschild (yes, the Rothschilds, the producers of Château Lafite-Rothschild), has been appointed to oversee Château d’Estoublon’s wines. We expect great things from this special estate in the coming years as they begin to consolidate their line and further increase their focus on quality, and we are proud to be the sole distributor of Château d’Estoublon wines in Hong Kong.
